Hillsong United Live in Manila

  Hillsong United Live: the worship night of your life! That’s what the teaser says. After struggling to get some tickets, I’ve finally grabbed 5 for me and my friends. Unfortunately, it was for general admission ticket… no more 800, nor 700, or 550 either. However, it’s not the artist that we’ve paid for, it’s the worship with them.

I’ve been a big fan of Hillsong United. I admire their anointing when it comes to song writing. Never have they failed to create a song so powerful and moving, and those songs have been always an inspiration to many song writers and worshippers. The song “Forever” and “Saving Grace” of Best friend have been always my favorites.

It was 21^st of November, the most highly awaited night of my life, the chance to worship with the Hillsong peeps. Though I had already been of the Hillsong worship team, way back 2004, when Darlene and Ruth Atanacio conducted "Extravagant Worship" workshop as well as Rueben Morgan's, and I have been given the priviledge to go with the team to different regions of the Philippines, the experience to worship with the Hillsong United is extra ordinary. The gate of the stadium was flooded with young people trying to get in and get a sit as close to the stage as possible. We had our way in and the stadium was already crowded with so many young people coming from the metro and nearby provinces. The show started 30 minutes late, but its all worth it for security compliance, we undestand them. Then the band starts to play, and the crowd goes wild. Wild as warriors ready for battle. The atmosphere was so immersed with His presence, and I myself can’t deny it. The worship last for more than two hours of spirit filled song of praises and worship. I almost cried out my soul out when they sung the song “Forever”, which has been my personal song to Him in times of rough road. The concert ended with smile on our faces, an evidence of satisfaction of our spirit. Not bad for 400-peso ticket… lolz! It was indeed a worship night of my life.

Today..eh tonight pala…hindi! today nga!! wahaha…

Hindi ko na malaman kung ano talaga. ganyan nga yata talaga ang mga nagtratrabaho sa mga call center, hindi malaman kung aling oras ang susundin: Manila time ba o Eastern, Central, West, Mountain ba (pronounced as mawn'Uhn daw! wahaha!!)… May african time din at UK. Sama mo na Juan tamad time.. haay buhay.. Friday sa tate pero sabado na ng madaling araw dito sa pinas.. so far so good. Ala masyadong ginagawa sa station ko. Buti nalang at hindi ako telemarketer na mayat-maya eh kailangang magtawag hangang mawalan ka na ng boses. Ehem… buti nalang at marunong ako mag modulate ng boses. "hello doctor love", ang laging biro sa akin ng mga klasmeyt ko noong college days ko.

"Ready mode please".. yan ang laging email blast ng TL nmin.. pasaway pa tong bagong CRM system namin.. sobrang complicated, puro flaws pa, nakaka asar talaga, pinahihirap talaga ang trabaho namin. Hindi ko na tuloy matapos tapos yung level 46 ng Dynomite na lagi kong nilalaro.. hehehe!..  Pero blessing parin kasi hindi mahirap ang trabaho ko, hindi rin madali.. tamang tama lang at nakakapag soundtrip pa ako at nakakapag update ng blog ko at friendster.. hehehe… sobwang OK sa office, mabait ang mga tao at kasundo ang lahat, maliban na lang sa mga masusungit na mga american customers na nagrereklamo sa mga softwares nila. Mahirap din yata mag troubleshoot ng mga web pages, web server, javascripts at kung ano-anong macromedia-adobe web tools issue. but as compared sa previous job ko as telemarketer, dito ko nahanap ang sarili ko..(matagal nang nawawala ang sarili ko…basilio!! crispin!!). Dito ko nalinang ang aking talento sa pag de-design ng website at ng kung ano ano pang mga anik-anik. Dito na rin ako tumaba!! wahaha… isa sa mga tagumpay ko! Payatot talaga ako noon na halos butot-balat na ako..

Masarap mabuhay, lalo na at maraming pera!! wahahaha!! Yan ang motto ko ngayon… pero papalitan ko narin mamaya lang.. hehehe.. marami na kasi akong iniisip na mga bagay bagay na higit pang mas mahala sa pera. "I think about forever", yan ang sabi ng song ng P.O.D. na paborito kong pinakikinggan. Mas mahalaga ang mga bagay na panghabang panahon keysa sa mga bagay na panandaliaan lang. "It would be crazy to choose this world over eternity" ika nga ng kanta ng Mercy me… at yun ang focus ko ngayon. Masarap mabuhay ng may pangarap, isang pangarap na sa sobrang seryoso eh talagang di malilimutan nino man…. ano kaya yun???… hehehe… sa akin na lang yun.. malalaman nalang nila pag may monumento na akong nakatayo alang alang sa aking pangarap.. wahahaha!!!  Ang sarap talaga mag blog! kahit ano nasasabi ko… Karaniwang tahimik ako sa office, seryoso sa trabaho. Pero pag sa harap na ng mga kaibigan ko.. ako lagi ang bida, banka sa mga kwentuhan, taya sa kainan.. syempre ako pa lang yata ang may magandang trabaho compared sa kanila, at syempre,ang walking MP3 player… todo awit at himig, paulit-ulit parang CD na naka loop.

Waah! Wala pa akong ticket!!!

Waah!! Parating na sila? Sino? ang Hillsong United…Live in Manila!! waaahh!! … at wala pa kong ticket.. naubusan na ako ng ticket for 800… kahit part ako ng music team … gusto ko bumili ng ticket para naman may mailagay ako sa mga collection ko ng mga items nila. Kumpleto yata ako sa album nila, mula sa pinaka kauna-unahan nilang album.. hmmm… 16 years old lng yata nun si Marty Sampson.. hehehe… pero da best talaga tong band na to.

Sa 21 of November na ang concert at hindi ko pa kabisado lahat ng mga lyrics. 12 songs ang kailangang isaksak ko sa ating kokote. Nalimutan ko narin yung line up!! waahh!! lagot ako kay mager!! Ayus na ayus na treat to for those aspiring musicians and worship leader… Grab the best from Hillschurch Australia kasi kasama nila si Pastor Phil Dooley.. Astig!! They Rawwkksss!!! So Spirit filled music talaga, very moving and inspiring. Being a worship leader myself ng youth team namin, they have become one of my inspirations. Their songs are really for this ages. A combi of contempo rock, alternative and ballad… great! awesome! amazing! No word to express my excitement for this coming event… Sooo longed to meet these peeps in person ng makahingi man lang ng kunting anointing sa pagsusulat ng kanta.. Im longing to write songs din naman kasi. Though meron na kong ilan ilan na mga kanta, still Im longing for more. Para naman marami akong entry sa mga darating na project namin for Gusi records and Praise Incorporated.. Hehehe… Soar high United Live!!! Shalom al Yahoshua ha Meshiyach!!!!

Adobe NA TS Goth Themed Fish Event

Its the most awaited "Black Eyed Fish Event" of the year… lolz.. Very creative.. Our team celebrates our gothic themed fish event in accordance to the coming hallows eve.. (since that we are also working in night shift)… it was so much fun, since that we don’t need to worry about being seen by people outside the building wearing those thick pale and dark make-ups… For my grandpa's sake!!! a kid will surely freak out once he saw even one of us that night.. lolz.. I'm so excited for this awaited Fish event.. I’ma trying hard Goth wanna be… love those black and dark clothing adorned with silver wares (silver wares.. I even dare to wear a silver gong around my neck..lolz!)..

I am sooo prepared for this event.. of corz, there is a prize at stake to those who will wear the thang the best.. I grabbed my old black Levi's denim and cut some slits through it to look more rugged, roamed on malls trying to find some Goth like accessories. I was so excited to buy this jacket from tribal, to my disappointment; it didn’t soothe to be worn with my soo gothic polo. I roamed around Mega and tried to look for some alternative. I passed through Giordano when my eyes was caught by this sooo cool dark jacket that looks so expensive.. knowing that is Giordano, I dared to look and inquire for it. To my surprised, I it only cost 799 pesos.. I looked on the tag and it was 2399 pesos, as its original price.. I didn’t notice that the stuff was on sale for 70% off. So captivated my eyes by the gothish coat-jacket that I didn’t even noticed the streamer and banners that those stuffs are for sale for 70% off.. so happy I went home with my killer –gothic jacket…lolz!! Proud to say that I am the most well dressed that night.. sabi nga.. kinarir ko daw ang pagiging gothic ko… though I'm  just a little bit emo when dressing up. Unfortunately, I didn’t got the prize.. huhuuh.. I spent 2k just for that gothic get-up… but anyway, it serves me well naman..

More on posting and updating my blog!!!

I've never been that active with blogging, but it's so much fun knowing peeps are peepin in my blog post's. Well, today is nov1 2k6… being bored by routine… work, home, work and home… New things with Adobe (where I used to work) are crawlin in.. new softwares, lots of call from the US of A and everything.. how I wish I can avail a 1 week vacation and escape from the ever busy metro.. I really wanted to go to somewhere where time had stopped from ticking… I'm always dreamin of Bohol.. love to be there.. I miss my friends way back there.. sooo much memories … though it is already 3 years ago… the fresh sea breeze still entice me.. the calmness and the sound of nature… rushing waters of the Loboc river and the pleasant sound of the waves touching the sugar white sand… touching my feet… (really loved the feeling!!) whooaaa!!!  .. Anyway.. starting to be more updated with this so beloved Blog of mine that I started to keep posting my newest pics.. yah can check em out. labyah'll!!
